Roofing company, Auckland

Roof take-offs that took days, sometimes weeks, now take minutes.

In trial with the office, October 2026

Before a family roofing business can quote or order, someone has to work out every sheet, flashing, roll of underlay and box of screws from the plans. That take-off could take days, sometimes weeks.

Quotes waited on it, and so did the order to the supplier.

How it works

The real system, with the business's name and logo taken out. The address, the builder and the people are swapped for made-up ones.

  1. 01

    However the roof arrives

Upload the consented plans, a photo of a site measure, or trace the roof on the aerial photo when there's no measure yet.

Starting a job: the site address, the builder, and a choice of PDF plans, a site measure photo or an aerial trace.
  2. 02

    The roof drafts itself

The system finds the roof plan, checks the scale against two printed dimensions and drafts every roof plane with its sheet count and length. A person ticks each one before anything is ordered.

A roof plan with six planes drafted and ticked, each labelled with its sheet count and length, and the totals beside it ready to approve.
  3. 03

    The order, ready to send

Sheets by length and roof plane, flashings, underlay and screws, laid out on the business's own order form. It stays a draft until a named person approves it, and every revision is kept.

The order preview: sheets by length and roof plane, then the flashings, all marked draft until approved.

What it works with

The plans they already get from architects, site measures and aerial photos. The order goes to the suppliers they already use.
