Concreting company, Melbourne

The business ran out of one person's head. Now anyone they trust can see where every job is up to.

Built October 2026, being rolled out

Two brothers run a concreting business: slabs, driveways, kerbs and civil work. Every job lived in the older brother's head: what was quoted, won, poured and paid, who to ring and where the plans were.

The crew's week was sorted in text threads, and every slab was priced by hand.

How it works

Screens from the version the owners signed off, with the business's name taken out. Every job, person and figure in them is made up.

  1. 01

The whole business on one page

Live jobs, this week's pours, contacts, plans, documents and money owing. It reads from their accounting package and Outlook and never changes anything in them.

The home page: live jobs, the schedule, contacts, plans and photos, documents, jobs to price, emails to check and money owing.
  2. 02

Every job, and where it's up to

Quoting, won, booked, poured, claimed, paid. The jobs that need a person today sit at the top: no order nine days after a win, a quote due, a pour not invoiced.

The jobs board in six columns from quoting to paid, with the jobs that need a person today across the top.
  3. 03

    Who is where this week

One schedule for the whole crew instead of text threads. Each person opens their own week on their phone with the address and site notes, and the people affected are told when something changes.

The week's schedule by day: each pour, set-up and saw cut with its time, site and crew.
  4. 04

    Slab sizes in, price out

Type the slab in and get the concrete, mesh, edge form and pump with a price on their own rates. One more tap makes the quote on their own template and saves it to the job.

Estimating: a slab's length, width, thickness, concrete strength and mesh on the left; quantities and the price on the right.

What changed

Hours saved will go here after a month of real use.
